rosequartz + garnetstone are dead

Check it out.

One day in the Summer of 2019, I made myself a new type of jewelry using some charms and pendulums to clip onto my belt loops as a funky crystal accessory.

Someone asked where I bought it and it occurred to me that hey— crystals are super in, they seem to help people (whether that’s through some mystical power or placebo!), and I love new projects.

To give myself a challenge, I decided I would sell the pieces at the Full Moon Market in Nashville, Tennessee just one month after that conversation, meaning I had to create both the jewelry pieces and an entire brand in a whirlwind!

I love puns, and I love not taking anything too seriously. Thus, “Rosequartz + Garnetstone Are Dead” was born, with the slogan “the little things matter” and a unique tongue-in-cheek name for each piece of jewelry.

Made it to the Full Moon Market! Booth assembled, unbelievably, from items I already had at home.

Hard at work, and an example of how I use the jewelry myself.
